A painted finish, a digital image
Watercolor changes the look of your photo toward soft color and a paper-like finish. It is an AI-generated digital portrait, rather than a handmade painting. The before and after above use our own sample cat photo; the result demonstrates the style without promising the same detail or composition for every upload.
Choose a photo that makes them recognizable
Use your clearest photo with the face, ears and important markings visible. JPEG, PNG and WebP are supported, up to 10 MB per file. Describe the white paw, collar or eye color you want to keep. A description helps guide the edit but cannot guarantee that every feature will be preserved.
Check the details before keeping it
Compare the eyes, face, fur pattern and paws with your original. Creative edits can alter details and cannot exactly recover features missing from an old or blurry photo. Keep a copy of your original. You can add a name and frame to a result you like using the separate keepsake tool.
Where your photo goes
This portrait tool sends a resized photo and your instructions to our image-model provider, Alibaba Cloud. Original uploads are not saved to our storage. Generated results are held privately for download; links require your browser session and expire after seven days. Download a result you want to keep.
How to use it
- Open the studio with Watercolor selected and add one pet photo.
- Describe the features that matter, then request the portrait while trial capacity is available.
- Compare the result with the original. Download the PNG or choose Make a keepsake to add a name and frame.
Before you start
Is a watercolor portrait free?
Each browser session can try up to three cloud edits per UTC day while the shared daily capacity lasts. The website does not currently collect payment. A successful result is a digital PNG, with no physical delivery.
Can I print the result?
You can download a PNG and arrange your own printing. Check the actual pixel dimensions and your printer's requirements before choosing a print size. Pawframe does not promise a particular physical size or supply a print.
Will my pet look exactly the same?
The model is instructed to preserve recognizable features, but a creative edit can change markings or anatomy. Compare the result carefully; exact preservation is not guaranteed.
Can I try another style?
The studio also offers other portrait finishes. Choosing a different cloud style uses another image request and is subject to the same trial limits.
